Join us for a cocktail party and art auction at the Dry Creek Mercantile in Hidden Springs on January 19th from 6:00pm – 8:30pm.
For those of you unfamiliar with what exactly is “Get Lucky,” let me try to explain.
“Get Lucky” is the phrase we use in reference to getting “lucky” in the international arena. Our formula for luck is of course a lot of hard work and group support, and yes, we do count on a bit of luck itself. When we were on the lookout for a horse to take to the highest levels of our sport, we were referring to this dream horse as “Lucky” – so we were out to Get Lucky!
We are raising money to put Idaho on the map for international event riding, an olympic sport.
As you all know, this is an exciting sport. It is the only olympic sport where men and women compete as equals and with the average age of athlete over 40!
The evening of the 19th is an opportunity to enjoy time with our community: lovers of horses, art, food and wine, while we celebrate 2019 and look forward to the goals and opportunities in 2020.
We will be highlighting and auctioning off art by Liz Comer. We’re fortunate to have to have such a talented and accomplished artist and equestrian as part of our community.
Appetizers will be provided as well as a cash bar with beer and wine.
Proceeds from the ticket sales and the art auction will go to support the 2020 Get Lucky Campaign.
$35 per person suggested donation to attend.
